Dr. Diane Johnson= is firmly rooted in District 3 from birth. A 1961 graduate of Chimacum High School, she earned her doctorate in cli= nical psychology in 1979. In her professional career, she has always emphas= ized service to those whose needs are not necessarily matched by their financial resources.

Diane's grandpare= nts came to the Tarboo Valley in 1887, creating a homest= ead where Diane still resides. Her values come from that rich rural herit= age; she will bring those values to the activities and deliberations of Jefferson County Government.

She is running for Commissioner because she cares deeply about the effects of current County policies on the lives of the people of District 3. She believes it is government's job to serve the people, not outside special interests.=
